Tis the season……
So the Holiday’s are upon us and thus far my spirit has been lacking to say the least. I have sort of been a moody bitch. Work has been overly busy. Commutes have not been fun. I have also read some serious sadness on other people’s blogs, the kind that makes you feel like you were kicked in the stomach. I need to shake it off.
I didn’t decorate the inside house this year in protest for a construction project we have had in the works since November. Contractors, they love to drag out the work….frustrating. I broke down and agreed to get a tree this weekend. We covered it in flashing blue and white lights. At Least D is happy…… The outside of our house is adornded Clark Griswold style with blow up snowmen, deer and a hanging Santa. Only in the suburbs folks, only in the suburbs. I guess I should get used to upping the tack factor considering I am with child and kids like bright goofy things. I guess I will be able to visit Bloomingdales and my sister’s house to see a nice serene matching tree every year.
Things of note this week. Must procure:
A mini crockpot for Dips. So I can make this .
A bottle of this so I can faux drink during Christmas.
And lastly I made these little ditties. HUGE hit at work today. A tin of 48 gone in less than an hour.
